Aberdare : Herbivores and birds

Aberdare : Herbivores and birds

As I was telling you, it’s a mountain park, surrounded by forests. There are very few clearings and the observation of animals is difficult. They are quite wild because of the low frequentation of the park and can disappear very quickly.

But it allows to make beautiful pictures that are pretty different from what we can see elsewhere.

You can also see birds, although it’s harder. But we observed a Mountain Buzzard, a Steppe Eagle  and a very pretty Long-crested Eagle.

We also cross the path of elephants. Their red color is due to the earth found in the park.

We saw a leopard crossing the road and going directly into the impenetrable forest. We did not get time to take a picture.
