Yes, you read that right: wild dogs in the Masai Mara. I know some people who, in over 20 years of presence in the park, have never seen one.

Here we only saw two. If they could re-establish themselves in the Masai it would be great news.
In addition to biodiversity, they are the sworn enemies of the hyenas which are in large numbers and threaten the cheetahs.
